The next 'You Outta Know' post is a feature on one of my favorite bar's in the city The Summit bar! Located in the heart of Alphabet City on Ave C it's a great place to go for a chill drink. The place itself features amazing interior design with elements such as exposed brick, a rustic outdoor garden, and inventive lighting hardware these are just some of the many things that make this place so sweet. The bar excludes cool with everything from design, to it's bartender's (a hot mix of guys, one including a tattooed awesome friend of mine named Pete from New Zealand), to their amazing cocktail list, and speakeasy themed Thursday nights, where the boys dress up dapper and have a cool DJ spinning an amazing vinyl collection! The cocktail & drink menu features some of the best I've had in the city yet (nice job to the mixologist they use by the way!) but the cocktail called 'Breaking the Law' would be at the top of the list! It included ingredients such as: Don Amado mezcal, chipotle chilli agave, summit's own- orange bitters, and cucumber, but the chipotle chilli agave is what puts it in a league of its own! I can honestly say this is one of the strongest drinks I've ever had! So warning, more than three and don't blame me if you wake up in your roommates closet! Haha

So the next time you're in Alphabet City check out the Summit bar, on Ave C between 8th and 9th St. and ask for Pete. I promise it won't let you down!
